If you are/were in the military, FL accepts that training for non-resident permits. It's still a good idea to make sure you review the actual laws in MO (or whatever state you carry in).

I took Dutch's class. It was an excellent class--well worth the $50.

but during the school year, I'm down in Rolla going to school for an Engineering degree. At least for one more year anyway
JOE-
Definitely join Missouri Carry and link up with "Naked Prophet", he also is an engineering student at Rolla and the 2 of you would likely hit it off. It’s not like there a lot of girls in your classes to pick up or anything

When I went, it was still called UMR . . .

Yep, MUST (Missouri University of Science and Technology) wasn't much of an improvement.

But were you there for the 100th Annual?

Hey, we are almost up to 25%!

You know its bad when the first thing I do after walking into class on the first day is to count the girls and do a quick % calculation...

Its never pretty.

No, I would have had a hard time convincing the wife to let me go back down and re-live some of the glory "daze"!

She still gives me a strange look when I bring out one of my old green sweatshirts--usually with unexplained stains on it . . .

I've been to the MO Carry site several times, but never joined. I definitely need to.

When I was in school there, we used to joke that UMR had a 7:1 guy/girl ratio--but pound-for-pound it still had more women than any other school in the state . . .

If you are a Missouri ccw holder or looking at becoming one, you need to make missouricarry.com a regular stop on your web surfing. Whether you opt to become a full fledged voting member, site supporter or just hang out, you will have direct access to the true Missouri ccw experts.

We have an annual gun rights rally at the Capitol (usually in April) and a state wide annual picnic at the United Sportsmen Club in Jefferson City (usually early October).

Stop in and say, "Hi!"

You can meet some great people as well as John Ross and play with his class III toys (for cost of the ammo)

As I am sitting in Ramadi Iraq, this is the first one I'm going to miss since they started.

Sorry you'll have to miss it . . .

That being said, thank you very much for representing the Show-Me state over there.

Stay safe!

I live in Blue Springs, and went to a class by Dutches, they were in Raymore, it was inside, but he also does a class at the Bass Pro in Independence MO, INSIDE both of these classes are CHEAPER than crossfire. PM if interested and I can give the info... And the class was great and wasnt boring....
