I wouldn't ask and I surely wouldn't tell. Concealed is concealed and it's quite unlikely anyone except those with whom you work closely will attend your funeral. If it's a small to very small company, CC might not be an issue. If it's a large to very large organization, you can bet the P&P manual will expressly forbid CC, which brings me to my conviction that nobody will be there to comfort your family after you're gone. JMHO.

Get the job. Then pull out your Mall Ninja Hi-Point 45 in gold trim with top mounted laser, under mounted light and ivory grip panels and lay it on their desk. Then say "You gotta problem wit That"?
Thank them for their time and then leave to go to the next interview. (take that monstrosity with you) Eventually somebody's got to be shocked into submission.

Sorry, I just had to!

If i was looking i wouldnt worry about it. I would work that out later. The paycheck would be the main thing.

FWIIW: A lifelong career (with the same employer) is nearly a thing of the past -- even in the "Government." I was RIFed twice and furlough three times, in my 31 years. Somehow, I always landed on my feet, in another job [once in a different State], but it was not a discernible lifelong career pattern -- my Distinguished Career Service Award not withstanding.

[BTW before some one comes back and says that the whole "Government" is the same employer-- in my experience the Federal Government sometimes consider the individual installation/duty station/unit/etc or the Agency or the whole "Government" the employer, depending on what give them the stronger hand in a particular situation/application of the law.]

Of course, you should always read any rules or contract carefully.

For me, company policy is just company policy. I would know if it was illegal to carry there as soon as I got to the interview.

In todays market, if I needed the job, and it was a good opportunity, I don't think carry policy would deter me from taking the job.
Ditto - concealed is concealed, and risk-to-family of my being out of work is known and would be present, vs. very unlikely scenario of need for weapon at work. I would keep my eyes open for "no weapons permitted on company property" signs, though.

One gets a new job the matter of firearms on site will come up. Don`t end your career early asking if you can bring a gun to work. You might freak some bozo out.
