I just took the Utah class this weekend. Our instructor said students from his last class in Maryland were reporting 60 -100 days to receive their permit.

Rec'd Non-resident Utah permit

I rec'd my Utah permit yesterday (Aug 27). This was exactly 84 days from when they charged my credit card and 90 days from receipt of application.

Just to help set expectations. Good luck on a shorter wait than mine.

Question on permit numbering.

Nonresident application received by BCI on June 20th. Instructor said the wait was going close to 4 months. Seems like you guys are getting yours faster. Can anyone who has received their nonresident Utah permit tell me how the numbering on the permit works? Alpha numeric? Number of digits?

Thanks

They just cashed my check a couple weeks ago,so I figure I have at least 4 months to wait.

Mine took only 30 days, but that was 3 1/2 years ago. I'm sure that it's a lot longer now. There was talk some time ago that they were considering dropping the nonresident permit, as they were getting so many apps. I hope that they've come to their senses and just dropped that stupid idea.

Oh, and Welcome, CraigV. I just noticed that you made your first post, hopefully one of many.

Renewal question

Does anyone know if you retain your same permit number when you renew?

Thanks
