(We won't tell them I lived in Lexington for 35 years, OK?)

I'm glad to see this. My father-in-law lives in Valentine, my daughter in Omaha and I still have a few friend's in Lexington (that haven't cleared out or died) I like going back to Nebraska (in the fall and spring).

As of Oct 20, Colorado recognizes the Nebraska CC permit (if the permittee resides in Nebraska). Handgunlaw.us has already published this information, but the update here may prove useful to someone.

The Nebraska State law that makes it legal to concealed carry preempts any county or municipal law. It was an issue here for a while that we in Omaha could not get the permit. But it was overturned with the basic legal principle we all learned in civics classes.

Federal law preempts State law. And State law preempts County or Municipal laws.

Then you haven't been anywhere else, have you? Try driving across North Dakota or Wyoming.

You still have to register your firearm if you live within Omaha city limits. If you get stopped and you're firearm isn't registered, it's going to the property room.

I saw this recently that Nebraska has now recognized WV. Now if we can get our state to recognize them, that will be a plus.
