I just received my Crossbreed Microclip last week for my Kahr MK9 and I was wearing it around the house to break it in. I gave my wife a hug and pinched her behind a little hard. She reached over and spanked me as hard as she could. I was wearing the Microclip at 5 o'clock, so she got a handful of steel instead. I can't tell you how mad she was.

The TSA person was totally in the wrong and violated TSA's own rules. This should have been reported to the TSA Supervisor on duty as well as a written complaint filed with TSA.

I was picking up dinner from Wingstop Thursday night and had just gotten out of my truck. The parking lot asphalt was in bad condition around the manhole next to my space. I didn't see this in the dark and my right foot caught the edge and I started to go down. I made it about 3 steps forward in the futile attempt to keep myself upright. Keep in mind it takes a while for 400lbs to move. I went down HARD hitting both knees, landing/bouncing off of the concrete tire stop pylon and then smacking my face on the curb. As much as the pylon hurt racking my across my midsection, it probably kept me from losing all my teeth. I also somehow tore off the front of my right big toe in the process since I was wearing sandals.
My Supertuck held onto my Glock 27 the whole time like a champ although unbeknown to me my shirt had ridden up over it so I laid there for a couple minutes getting my wind back while fully exposed as people did their best to ignore me. Makes me wonder if the people that didn't offer any help were just jerks or were afraid of my gun.

Nothing really embarrassing, yet...

First one, I jumped out of my truck to go into the gas station to pay for my pump. Only thing, I forgot I had tucked my shirt behind my rig. Luckily, it was dark and I noticed before anyone else. A couple days later, I was in Panera ordering at the register. My glasses were dirty, so I fogged them, picked up my shirt, and wiped the lenses. About half way through, it clicked that I had lifted my shirt to perform this maintenance, exposing my XD. No one noticed, included the cashier standing directly in front of me. Since then, I've tried to be more conscious that I'm carrying. Quote:
# You must securely pack any ammunition in fiber (such as cardboard), wood or metal boxes or other packaging that is specifically designed to carry small amounts of ammunition. # You can't use firearm magazines/clips for packing ammunition unless they completely and securely enclose the ammunition (e.g., by securely covering the exposed portions of the magazine or by securely placing the magazine in a pouch, holder, holster or lanyard). |
