Since I can't carry at work or leave it secured in my car, I don't carry until I get home. I don't usually have it on my person but always have something in reach and out of reach of my 2 year old. When I leave the house otherwise, it's on me. When I answer the front door, it's on me and one hand on it.

And I live in what one would consider a good, safe neighborhood.

I switch out my EDC (Glock 23) to my HD gun (Glock 35 with 6 inch 357 sig conversion barrel). I wear my beltman mtac combo around the house even with shorts and a tee shirt.

I also, always carry when working around the house, washing car/truck, cutting grass etc...

The only time I do not carry is when I an going to work, at work and coming home from work. As soon as I get home, I change close and put my gun in my holster.

Since Sept 29th, I am also allowed to bring firearms on a company parking lot, but since I have a motorcycle, I do not have a way to secure my gun, so I do not bring it.

I live in a small 2/1 condo but I don't carry when there. The place is small enough, I've already tried some drills (had roommate 'kick' open door when I was on the living room. I bolted across living room, dove onto bed and grabbed gun. From 'invasion' to me having my hand on my weapon, 3.5 seconds. It took me 1.5 seconds to get up and clear across living room, (basically out of sight from invader). I keep the blinds closed most of the time, so unless they are a commando, I think I'll be just fine. If they are a commando, I don't imagine I'll even hear anything...

The first thing I do when I get home from school is put on the Glock, and it comes off when I go to bed...it sleeps next to me on the nightstand.

I place whatever I carried that day within arms reach of where I am at in the house....on the coffee table, computer table, nightstand....etc. So....disarmed no......weapon within reach.....YES.

I continue wearing it until I change into night clothes or it gets uncomfortable. After that it's within arm's reach.
