I carry at home and away. Only disarm for something like going in the Post Office.

I continue to carry at home as if I were still at work. When I go to bed, my daily carry gun becomes my under-the-pillow gun.

Nope, I'm one of those who can only carry when they get home. Since I'm all over the eastern half of the USA during the week, there are too many laws and regulations for me to try and keep up with in every city, village, or state I may visit. So I'm not comfortable with having a firearm in the truck with me. However, there's an Ontario Kabar within my reach at all times, in plain sight hanging off of my seatback organizer.

When I'm back in my hometown is when the gun goes on my waist, and stays there unless I'm showering, sleeping (then it's laying beside me), or getting ready to leave out.

642 in DiSantis all day. 637 in Uncle Mike's when I change to bathrobe and PJs. Asleep, 642 on nightstand and Mossberg 500A in bed rack.

I tend to use my Smart Carry out of my pants when I'm home. Or I keep my pistol near me but not on me.

Given that I had a home intruder, home isn't necessarily a place that feels safe. So yeah, I want my gun nearby.

Quite the contrary. That is when I'm able to arm myself, so I do.

Unfortunately, if I want to work at my current employer (or pretty much any employer in my profession), I can't even have one in the car.

I may put away the firearm I was carrying, but I have others close at hand.

I dont disarm when I get home, sorta. I may change clothes, but I have it either on me or near me. If I have people comin over, I stay dressed in order to have my holster on, if not, im in casual stuff like T shirts and shorts and keep my firearm nearby within reach.
