If I'm not carrying, the boss sends me home to get my guns.

The agency I work for has a "no gun" policy, although there is some leeway as to bringing a disassembled firearm with you on overnight field camp jobs during hunting season, so an employee can make the most of those off-the-clock hours. Many of us at the office have our CW permit, and in discussions with our LEO, he said he's never going to ask if we cary at work, and would personally prefer it if we did. "If I have some guy pulled over on the highway, and you drive by and see that he's beating the cap out of me, I'd be really happy if you did have your firearm. Or what if some pissed-off John Q Public comes in here cutting loose with a shotgun? It will be a lot easier to ask for forgiveness than permission for carrying!" My supervisor occassionally calls for "safety meetings" at the local range at lunch break, although one of the sheeple in the office complained loudly it's still our favorite type of safety meeting.

My boss requires me to carry at least one gun, and if I'm more than an hours drive from the office, put a trunk gun the the SUV just to be safe.

it's good being self employed :-)

My employer (me) requires 24/7 carry. My BOSS (wife) is ok with it.

no guns, no how

I work for a law firm with a strict no guns policy. Several attorneys have CHL's and I know a few of them carry anyway, but they can't get fired. I'm in the IT dept. and I can fired in a heartbeat, although there have been some late nights here in downtown Dallas that disregarded firm policy.

My wife does! He bosses, the Husband and Wife who own the company told her on her first day that they both carry at work and that if she wanted to, as long as she had a permit (which she already had for years) that she was more than welcome to do so as well.

So, now she gets to carry in her job as a office manager and I do not get to carry at my work place. I am jealous of my wife. She works at a MUCH cooler place than I do.

Self employed here with several teachers and part time help. I carry, have informed them that I do so and they are welcome to do so as well if they have their firearms license. So far no one has bothered.

Funny enough... the company I work for has no rules about guns.

But the military installations that we work on do...

My company requires everyone to carry. They also work out a deal to get a cwp for half off. New toys require a show and tell in the bosses office.
