I was wandering around WW the other day waiting for a prescription. For the fun of it I was really looking at people and was able to pick out 3 employees and a little over 10 customers who were carrying.

Most of them just had concealment clothing ride up or that just didn't fit right, but there were a few that seemed to want to shout it to the world.

I was talking about if it prints or they see it while you are cc it.

If somebody doesn't like me wearing an NRA ballcap, they can look in a different direction. Look at what you're allowing yourself to be intimidated over.
I see where you are coming from. I'm not being intimidated though I'm trying to blend in the crowd. I wear NRA or other apparel when its appropriate.

Ok that doesn't happen. The only time I'm not carrying is when I'm at work. To and from work and everywhere else I have my CCW. Its best to avoid trouble if your not intending to display via open carry. I don't advertise myself un-necessarily.

I can't disprove that; but I can say the many many sheep would be more then willing to help you in a situation. Whether its stepping in or just calling 911 for you. So it goes both ways I guess.

I don't want to draw attention is all. Its hard enough to hide a medium frame large caliber weapon without people looking to see if I'm armed.

Somebody who minds if I wear an NRA ballcap, armed or otherwise is stupid. I don't want to "blend" with them, since what they're wearing or doing is overwhelmingly likely to be stupid as well.

You don't have to wear NRA (or any other particular type of) clothing. I'm just saying that I have REAL contempt for people who think they can bully me into not doing so. Those who've tried have REALLY regretted it afterward.

What, no badges?

In that case, I'm not interested in keeping my weapon truly concealed.

I haven't got the slightest intention of skulking around like a registered sex offender.

"People" who don't want you to wear a Glock hat don't want you to own guns, PERIOD... or to have opinions of ANY kind different from their own. They're the type who are "offended" by the presence of an American flag.

I don't allow malignant narcissists to run my life for me.

I think there is a major difference between "not wanting you to" and "Thinking it's a bad idea". Perosnally I think wearing clothes with gun logos is a bad idea. Does that mean you shouldnt wear them? Hell no! This is America! Wear whatever you want. However I still think it's a bad idea. Why? For the same reason that I think wearing baggy urban style clothes is a bad idea. There is a certain connotation attached to it. Right or wrong, like it or not, it's the way it is.

The only "connotation" to wearing an NRA or Glock hat is that you like guns. That's something of which I'm not ashamed, and which I do not hide.

I have to disagree. I think the connotation (At least where I live) is "OH MY GOD!!! GUN CRAZY HILLBILLY!!!". Just like the connocation of wearing baggy urban style clothes is "OH MY GOD GANG BANGER!!!! People tend to live in a world of extremes.

Edit - This is very much the same as most gun people automatically think that liberals are anti gun.

I'm a militantly pro-gun Black liberal. Nobody's bullying me into hiding my interest in firearms. I don't even recommend trying.
