SelfDefense,

Good to hear from you again. Refresher course for you this time around if you can make the dates?

PM me if you are interested, we'll work something out for you.

BTW- For those attending or thinking of signing on for this course, I'll be bringing the steel plates along as well as the target stands so we can ring steel as well as paper targets in this class.

Word has it that Brownie is going to train with his 1911 this time.... The one with no sights / smooth top slide

Here's the 45 trainer I'll be using for the Flagstaff class Rex.

Don't reload...hmmm, 2000 rounds
Cheap Wally World White Box=$30/100 rounds x 20 boxes = $600 in ammo!
I don't know if I can even load 2000 rounds into 1911 mags in two days...when do we shoot?

AZ,

Plan on 12-1300 rds for the single stacks, the double stacks with plenty of mags will get through 2k. I've had two 1911 shooters who brought plenty of mags and they stayed with the double stacks for the most part.

I don't know if I can even load 2000 rounds into 1911 mags in two days

"Load Thumb" is quite common with the attendants in the course

I'll be making it, i got a G17 today (for a reasonable price) at the gun show and my neighbor bought me my CCW class for my b-day, and he is taking it with me on 4/12 at Ben Avery. I'll see if i can't get him to sign up for the QK class as well (point in case i had more money left in the budget than expected) see ya there!

Okay, sweet. I was going to ask about camping. I'll just ruck myself up there, then. No sense wasting money I don't need to, right? haha Where can I camp that is close by? Not keen on just planting myself on someone's property.

This road.. I've got a lowered car. I'm assuming it shouldn't be too much of a problem? I really don't want to hump 1300 rounds of .40 in my backpack with a tent and other junk. haha

I'm really looking forward to this class. A lot. Man thats more ammo in one day than I went through in a week at Gunsite! Hell yeah!!
