Good directions Rex,
We're six days out from the training at this point. I have it as Six Bravo Tactical Compact Self defense Lonnie 3 more students from the valley BillR------I have a question mark next to your name, if you see this, please confirm on this course if you are planning on attending. I just got back yesterday from 4 days in Nevada, being a student in front of several instructors during a conference/training event. Good times, lots of contacts and networking, some new materials like ground work with knife during gun grabs and plenty of shooting, including lowlight with XS sights, lasers and flashlights. What're we planning to do for food? After talkin to Rex it sounds like we might be down for some camp cooking. We may or may not have fire restrictions up there, but we can still cook. Don't know how firmiliar you guys all are with camping but we can wrap stuff in tin foil and cook them on engines if we have to. Baked potatoes, bratwurst, any other ideas? I've been trying to get a hold of a Dutch Oven but its not working out. Of course.. this may or may not apply to those who are staying in a hotel. haha
Just want to get this idea out here with enough time so we don't get folks left out of it.

Mike and I will have our own food, and be setting up a grill for dinners. I'm sure there's enough grille space if others bring food.
Some will likely be heading to town for lunch, etc. It's 15 minutes to chow from the range so there'll be plenty of time to grab something and get back for the afternoon start. Not sure what Rex has up his sleeve for his location, though I'm sure he'll chime in here shortly with his ideas. Brownie |

I'm a vegan with a strict prohibition of garlic and onion. I'll be doing my own thing, not sure what yet though... lol.
I just picked up a kel-tec P3AT and a Kahr MK9. Gonna bring those too. I might even bring the wife after-all. I think she wants to come now that she has her own pistol. |

I've got MRE's!!
![]() I will have full cooking facilities set up, so we can do anything needed, I will also have lots of water, about 60 gallons, a restroom for those that need one, gun cleaning facilities, and shade (there is none out there) Fire restrictions should not be a problem, so bring a folding chair and enjoy a campfire with us!! This is going to be a great class as well as a meetup of the people of DC. ![]() ![]()

Hey Brownie, I don't want to hijack your thread, but I owe you a phone call;
Our funding failed, but we still have a house bill in the works for a new training budget for state narcotics agents. I'll keep you in the loop as much as possible. Guys, Brownies class got great reviews from the locals here; don't be foolish and miss an opportunity to attend. When is the encore performance?

SIXTO,
I'd like to get back into that area again early fall if possible. I plan on bringing another threat focused trainer as well this time who I've worked with in the past that brings lots of SD pistol skills to the plate. Hope all is well in your world sir. Stay sharp out there. Brownie |

jmsstnr,
Look for future Integrated Threat Focused Training Systems announcements re: locales and dates here in the future. I'll be back in the Dayton and Knoxville areas this fall, dates have not been confirmed at this time, but stay tuned. Good to go on the panning, appreciate the effort sir. ![]() Brownie |

TacticalCompact, I'm sure your wife will have a good time if she can make this with you. Brownie |
