Not in the shape I want to be but making progress. Since last November I've lost 42 pounds and aim to lose about 28 more. I've been walking a lot and starting to run again. Soon I'll be back on the bike, too. Next stage is to join a gym (one is slated to open within walking distance) and start back lifting. I was really into power lifting about 3 years ago and want to get back into it.

A big problem that really hurt was when I broke my right arm (quite seriously) last Labor Day. Had surgery and now have this titanium gizmo permanently installed. It's just been a long haul and I still don't have all the flexibility back. Strength is nowhere near where it needs to be either.

But on the whole, I'm pleased with my progress. I a couple more months, I expect to be down to about 175, which will be a good weight for me at this stage in life. I'm not going to try to get down to where I was when I got out of Jump School back in the day -- 135 lbs! BTW, I'm 5'-11''.

Not always true

(not mad at you mad at my metabolism... I've done it all, personal trainers, weight watchers, slim fast, pretty much the only thing I haven't tried is snorting crack).

Meth's the clear way to go. The weight savings in teeth alone make it the best choice.

I walk 3 miles a day and do a light workout for my back and upper body. I am 6' and 200 lbs.. I weigh myself everyday. 195 lbs. is my perfect weight. I also work outside a lot (swimming pool business) so I have to stay fairly active.......and it is a lot easier to sell pools when you are in shape than when you are not, lol.

I'm 38 years old. 5'11" and 190#s soaking wet. I'm strong and in decent shape but my endurance is shot.

I could run but not far.

I could fight but not for long.

I could shoot all day.

I'm 40 years old, 5'-10", 190 lbs. I'm too old to fist fight and too broken down to run. Spinal fusions at L4-L5 and C5-C6-C7, countless related "procedures" and all of them have taken their toll.
