Snub Training

My wife took the "Essentials of the Defensive Snub Revolver" with Michael De Bethencourt at the S&W Academy this past Saturday. Class started at 9 AM and didn't finish till near 6. A lot of range time, lot of class, plenty of drills, etc.

She had nothing but positive things to say about the course, and feels much better about carrying her SP101 now. The other bonus is that she can re-take the course anytime free of charge as a refresher. Next year she will probably take the master course.

Anyhow, she says she would not hesitate to recommend this course to anyone. She would have posted this herself but she doesn't touch a computer except for work.

I've been to Michael's classes twice. Excellent training, for snubby and self-defense.

I'd love to get my girlfriend into the Essentials class, but it's not offered anywhere around here.

CT-Mike, how many people were in the class? Do you know his class maximum size? I took a look at the website and didn't see that info.

Thanks for the tip...my wife is a good candidate and I'd like for here to attend.

She told me there were 14 in the class, she was the only female. She tells me that he didn't say anything about a maximum class size.

Ex-MA Hole
I took the course about two years ago and we had about 14 in ours, too.

I can not even begin to rave enough about it.
