What is the best time of year for gunsite

I'm ready to go to gunsite, can any of you alumni clue me as to the best time of year to attend? I'm betting summer ain't one.

I'd also like to know. I hate temps above 75 degrees.

Temps above 75 degrees? You'll want to go from probably October to late March. Winter mornings in the high desert are cold, though. We're at a mile vertical here. One morning I was up there we started drilling and it was just on the warmer side of 20 degrees.

The best time to go would be spring or fall. Summers aren't terribly hot, but you can burn easily and its our monsoon season. Winter.. its been known to snow and rain quite a bit. Spring and fall.. we might get 5" of rain in 3 months.

Due to travel cost, I'd like to hookup 250 and 350 in consecutive weeks. Temp is an issue with me.

It's an issue with me though not a major one, it's just that after camping out in the jungles of Vietnam and Cambodia for about 11 months I find that my tolerance for heat has an imaginary boundary I really hate to cross, especially as I get older

I would imagine the fall would be the best time; but I'm sure the natives of that area know best.
