not to sound like a smart azz..but what ammo is street proven?

only reason i ask is because i was thinking of trying the air defense ammo that extreme offers--$11.00 for 5 rnds

Kinda like that "Fang Faced" stuff. The product of a marketing "genus".

I'm very leary of the $1.50-$2.00 a shot stuff. It almost has to be way,way,too good.------

Yeah. One of the local PD came in and was telling us that they did all sorts of testing, probably just read the hype, and decided to use this stuff. Great. Now my tax dollars are paying for ammo that goes for $2 a pop.

Just frangible ammo with a lot of marketing hype.

I will have nothing to do with this stuff as I view the "Air Freedom" and "carried by the nation's best" names and statements to be a direct marketing ploy off of 9/11, and nobody should make money off of that. Period.

Junk Junk JUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was one of the poor saps they suckered into buying some of this stuff when it first came out years ago. The guys at the local gun shop just got it in and said "Hey come check this stuff out!" I saw that fanged face and was like HMM bet that do a number on something if I had to use it. So I bought a box just for tryings sake and they guys threw in a second box for us to go test it (they didnt know much about it as well). I compared it to my Rem. Golden Sabre we shot and shot and shot and let me tell ya..... Go with something with some reputation the guys and I were completly unsatisfied with this stuff,, bad enough that they sold what they had to the stupid OHHHH I GOTTA HAVE THAT !!!! goofballs that frequent every gun shop.... (come on guys we all know the type I'm talking about ) and never got another box in after that. As said before a product of a Marketing genius to fool us dumb sheep that read too much into things
