200K rounds? No problem, stores nicely, lasts a long time.
A good friend, Marine Infantry, Bronze Star with V Device, told me, "There is no such thing as too much ammo. Unless you're swimming!"

Materials costs (and some shortages) are driving ammo prices according to some of the manufacturers.
For example - ATK (Speer, CCI) is raising ammo prices 7% on October 1 and another 10% on January 1 -- this is at the distributor level, so by the time it gets to retail, it will be more.
Availability may fluctuate, but when we actually see ammo, it is always more expensive.....

Used this thread as an "excuse" to pick up two cases of 9mm this AM at Academy in Plano, Texas (yea yea.....I don't really need an "excuse".....), BUT.......they only had 10 boxes of American Eagle 7.62 X 39. That was IT. No more. The ammo guy said it was getting hard to find. FWIW.
