Reminds me of the episode of Mythbusters where one of the hosts wanted to prove the myth of the exploding gas tank. He took a PSG-1 to a Cadillac put 5 or 6 holes into a full gas tank. As you can guess, nothing happened. But it was interesting to watch.

Growing up "in the sticks" I sorta thought for years every kid with a .22 or a 410 engaged in this pastime. Then there was the barn pigeon shoot and the cow pasture woodchuck hunt. Then there was the lucky few who were allowed on the .38 shotshell warehouse rat safari!

But give a country boy some firearms and a junkyard and he can stay entertained all day, even after the rats thin out.....
