sellior & bellot 223 55gr fmj
Today I received 1k of s&b 223 55gr fmj an the first thing I did was check it with a magnet. It stuck, so I guess I've got steel jackets with copper coating. Is this stuff going to harm the barrel on my new M&P AR15A? Thanks for any help.

Yep, the S&B .223 bullet is a lead core inside a mild steel jacket that is copper washed (a thin coating of copper).
Don't know if it will damage your barrel. |
