Well, I'm in the center of WallyWorld's world so-to-speak. 'Shopping around' may only mean a span of 35 miles to cover ten WM stores! The Supercenters are where it's at. Especially the new ones where I've found my current affordable supply. If you buy, they'll stock. That's my motto.

I dont buy ammo for practice. I reload for everything I shoot except for 22 rimfire.
Ammo and component prices have shot up so fast I cant keep up with them anymore. I kinda got away from casting my own bullets a few years ago, but do believe that I shall fire up the old furnace and resume production of my own bullets. |

nawwwwwww, you are close to the center. I'm almost dead center. LOL. I buy the WWB in .45 or when I go to the gun store I buy from them. Been going to the gun store more often to buy the Czech silvertips to feed my Mosins. LOL. oh, and I reload too!!! |

Im holding out for a gun show coming up in three weeks, has anybody seen better prices at the gun shows or are they the same as everybody else. May try to trade a gun or 2 for some ammo.

Gold Dots are cheap at Ammoman. I haven't found better with the shipping included. I can get Lawman or S&B for paper punching as cheap or cheaper locally. Last time I bought at Wally World, .40 WWB was $19.99/100. I'm not big on UMC so I only buy it if it's on sale, cheap.

I have saved my Brass for years. I do not have room for Reloading or the Equipment and Supplies. I send my Brass to Mastercast Bullet Co. (Home Page) Most of my Ammo is 357. This Ammo is not as hot as Factory but its close. It makes for good practice in my 357 Snubs. It's good Ammo, very affordable, and the people are nice to deal with.
