For my Kimber Ultra Carry II I use Federal Premium Hydra-Shok.

I can only tell you what I carry in these; others will have other ideas, and neither their favorites nor mine may prove best for you, of course!

.38 Special +P--Remington Express 158-grain Lead Semi-Wadcutter Hollow Point +P #R38S12

.38 Special--Remington Express 158-grain Lead Semi-Wadcutter #R38S14

.357 Magnum--Remington Golden Saber 125-grain Brass Jacketed Hollow Point #GS357MA OR Remington Express 125-grain Semi-Jacketed Hollow Point #R357M1

.45 ACP--Federal Premium Personal Defense 165-grain Hydra-Shok Jacketed Hollow Point #PD45HS3H

9mm--Federal Premium Personal Defense 135-grain Hydra-Shok Jacketed Hollow Point #PD9HS5H

Links to Ammunition:

Remington Handgun Ammunition

Federal Premium Ballistics

There are many other fine cartridges out there that may work better for you. Good luck with whatever you choose!

Stay safe!

thanx everyone .... most likely what I will do is get a couple hundred rounds of everything that has been mentioned ... go to the range and see what works best

just as I do when I make most of my purchases ... a lot of research and tire
kicking so to speak

.38 special -- Remington Golden Saber +P 125 Grain -- 975 fps 264 ft/lbs.

.357 magnum -- Remington Golden Saber 125 Grain -- 1220 fps 413 ft. lbs.

.357 sig -- Don't shoot

.45 ACP -- Remington Golden Saber 230 Grain -- 875 fps 391 ft/lbs

9 mm -- Remington Golden Saber +P 124 Grain -- 1180 fps 384 ft. lbs.
or -- Federal Premium Personal Defense Ammunition 124 Grain Hydra-Shok -- 1120 fps 345 ft/lb

and a few not on your list

32 ACP -- Cor-Bon Self-Defense Ammunition 60 Grain JHP -- 1050 FPS 147 ft/lbs.

380 ACP -- Remington Golden Saber 102 Grain -- 940 fps 200 ft/lbs.

Hey Neighbor, Here is some info on some good 9mm ammo at a very good price. You might give them a call and see if they have any left. Speer Gold Dot 124gr JHP +P, 50 round boxes @$14.00 INC SHIPPING, I usually order 500 rounds at a time, which is now up to $140, delivered. If interested, call (631) 738-6991 10AM-6PM E.S.T. Chesters Hunting and Fishing Supplies, Inc...232 Ronkonkoma Avenue, Ronkonkoma New York, 11779. No credit cards, USPS money orders accepted. Call first, reserve your order, send them your money order with a note reiterating your order. They ship fast and well. Good people, too.

This load is the standard issue load of the NYPD.

I use Cor-Bon, as I have for the past 20 years..... They work because they understand that velocity is the key to performance......

I carry Corbon DPX in .38 special and .45 ACP (as well as .40 S&W). Cheapest I've found is ammunitiontogo.com.
