They don't list the numbers for this round but the HST is a great bullet.
There is only 150 fps diff. in the 155gr and 180gr . $4.00 off not a bad price.
Would not want to get hit by it! .40 cal ammo in 9mm size weight. I carry the 155gr rangers.

I got the 165gr. HST in my piece. Was about to order some more and saw these lightweight suckers.

I wonder if penetration would be "too little" with the 135gr.

Oh well... they are cheap cheap cheap cheap cheep cheep cheep

I would think the lighter bullet if loaded as hot as a 165 grain would be mucho faster and have good penetration,look at the 357 sig round it's a necked down 40 pushing a 9mm bullet

135 grain Hydar-Shok Hollow Point 40 S&W.

21.00 - 20 in a box.

I fired a few thru the Browning 40... They were pretty nice.

I don't think performance would be an issue. How it shoots out of your gun should be the bigger question. Only one way to find that out.

I like the HST, but the 135 isn't listed on the Federal LEO website. The only versions I see are the plain Hydra Shok and the EFMJ and they are pretty weak in the 135gr weight:
Federal Premium Ballistics
(PD40HS4H) and (PD40CSP2H)

Before I bought it, I'd try to be sure if I was getting 40 "-P" or high performance stuff. It makes a difference in bullet expansion, penetration, slide cycle velocity.....

Just shot a box of these tuesday and threw a few 165gr. ones in the mix... couldnt tell the difference.

Looking at them compared from the 165gr HST... the hollow point cavity is deeper and the casing is bronze instead of silver.

No problems.

Sounds like a whole lot of marketing mojo to talk folks into buying .40S&W ammunition likely not accepted by the agency in question because they opted for proven, heavier .40S&W loads.
