Or is it just too early in the morning?
OK, here's what I suspect.

The OP found the photo on the Internet. The original photo was captioned with the identity of the cartridges. The OP posted the photo in this thread without including the caption.

So the OP knows their identity. Now it's time to either fish or cut bait and re-post the photo with its caption.

Oh, I get it... it's just a grown-up version of "So You Think You Know More Than A Fifth Grader"

Looks like .40, 9mm HP, .38 special, .357, and I don't know what that last one is...

All cases are rimless, so it can not be a .357mag or .38 special or any other rimmed cartrigde

Well, I see the OP hasn't seen fit to enlighten us.

Without any visual clues or frame of reference, such as a known, identified cartridge for comparison, it's virtually impossible to identify these rounds by sight alone.

Ask 100 shooters to name these cartridges based on an uncaptioned photo alone, and you'll get a hundred different answers, guaranteed.

I'm starting to wonder about the OP's motive for starting this thread.

We should all get together and send the OP a private message!

I was reading an article on the 10mm magnum wildcat cartridge by John Taffin and I'll bet this is a comparison photograph of .40/10mm cartridges.
