.32 - Hornady 60 gr. XTP (Seecamp)
9mm - 124 gr. HST (PM9, EMP, CZ 75 Compact)
.40 - 165 gr. Gold Dot (Glock 23)
.45 - 230 gr. +P Black Hills (5" Steel 1911)
.357 Mag - 158 gr. Buffalo Bore High Velocity (SP 101, 686)
all are HP's

Your ammo choices mean less than what you do with them.

Have you run 200 or more rounds of each through all of your guns to check reliablity?

Can you hit what you need to quickly and accurately?

If yes, then great. If not, then bad.

I can only comment on your .45 ACP load.

Why do you need +P in a full size 1911?

Wholly unnecessary.

But that's only my opinion. It's your pistol.

If it's reliable, I can't argue with your choice, but... I fired those XTP .32s into everything from wet newspaper to water to the "test tube" goo and never got one to expand. I ended up trying the longest barrel I had in .32 (a Savage) and nothing even at contact range. The Hydra Shok was almost as bad. I use Cor Bon in my BUG .32. I prefer some expansion in my defensive ammo, even in the small stuff. If you prefer the deeper penetration in the smaller calibers, I think it will be better than FMJ in that it will dig into bone rather than skip off should it hit a rounded piece of bone like a rib or skull.

As for the other stuff, if it's reliable and you can hit with it where you need to hit, you have good ammo choices.

About the only thing I would change would be to go with the Buffalo Bore Hard Cast Flat Nose in your Seecamp.
The B Bore is probably the hardest hitting 32 ammo out there.
I'd choose the Buffalo Bore even if only for the good reduction of muzzle flash.

+1 I won't run anything else for carry. Hot loads but really fantastic performance from my HK.

A person could LIVE with all those choices. As has been said, accuracy is so important.

I'd personally feel just as protected with a standard velocity 230 grain loading in the .45 ACP as I would with a +P loading.

I applaud the choice of the 158 grain load for the .357. If I regularly depended on this cartridge for self defense I'd go with something heavier than the 125 grain loads that get all the attention.

The only one I'd throw out is the weenie light bullet load in the .32 ACP. If I were toting a pistol so chambered I'd go for bullet weight and penetration over expansion. If. as has been mentioned, this load doesn't expand reliably despite the higher velocity derived by the light weight slug I'd toss it for sure. Trouble is, I seem to recall that the Seecamp originally had some special ammunition requirements that included light weight expanding bullets of some sort.

The Seecamp was originally listed for (Winchester) Silvertip only. IIRC FMJ was too long for the magazines.
