Ammo Prices to Rise Again!

I was on another forum that I visit often. There were several threads going about an upcoming 15-30% increase in ammo prices by September or October!

Not taking any more chances, I ordered up a case of .40 S&W to add to my stock of 9mm, .38 and .380

Just thought you all may want to think about the same. In the past 18 months I've been a gun owner, I've seen ammo prices rise 50% or more!

I noticed that the .22 at walmart just went up another 2.00. Still cheap but not quite as cheap. Glad I bought 5 boxes a month ago.
Also glad I got all my reloading stuff set up recently. Kind of sucks that shooting costs as much as buying the gun and in the long run way more than the gun costs!

i'm glad i reload,as long as powder and primers don't go too crazy, and i can still get wheel weights pretty cheap i'll be ok.Somebody told me 50 rounds of 45 was around 30.00 a box I thought 100 rounds were around that price, holy mother of god I reload a 100 rounds of all my pistol ammo for around $4.00-$5.00 .

hmmmm....just read the price of copper is coming down and so is fuel (kinda). Enter the greed factor. But, free market is free market and as long as people are willing to pay, the prices will keep going up. We're also getting an exponential increase of new people in the game (look at record sales at gun shows every weekend. Time to step up the family lobbying for the progressive reloading press.

its true

Its going up so get use to it, no sense in thinking about how you use to get 1000 for 80 bucks. adapt and over come and keep shooting or shut up.

I'd like to be buying more per week than I already am. Bologna and cheese sandwiches aint bad. Ketchup and mustard sandwiches are soon to follow. I don't know what's after I quit buying bread.
