Stopped at my local super-wall mart today. Only handgun ammo in stock was 2 boxes of 44 mag jagged hollow point. Even the .22 LR golden bullets were low on stock.

Thats the final straw. Sometime next week I plan on buying 1000 rounds of 40 S&W (on-line). Given the price difference between .357 Sig and 40 S&W that will justify the purchase of a G22 40 S&W barrel.

I love .357 Sig, but if I'm going to stock up, 40 S&W is more common, and turn into emergancy currancy.

Now all I have to deside is Lone Wolf or Glock Orig.

I managed to find that one of the Walmart stores nearest me had 3 boxes of .45 ACP Blazer brass left. A whole "3" boxes! That is all the handgun ammunition they had.

North Olmsted, Ohio Wally World.....

All ammo was gone except some 9mm blazer and 6 boxes of S&W 40cal....

I took the 6.

I'm also seeing a lot of white box at the gun shows for about 10 bucks more per 50rds.

So the question is.......is it an easy buck? and who's buying all the ammo? dealers?

My local walmart just laughs when I walk by the ammo counter and look at the bare shelves.

Ours too. This is small town central Texas. We've been out for sometime. I'd be willing to bet they could completely replinish their shelves and it wouldn't take long for them to empty it again. I'm hoping to take my CCW class within the next month or so. I guess I'm going to have to go online. Quit hoarding!!!

I talked to the WW manager and he said the Blazer supplies have been coming in slow and sell out soon after they arrive. I'm guessing, just guessing mind you, that CCI is funneling to the vendors that sell them at a higher price. WW is 14.99 in Dallas and 19.99 at Sports Academy.
Just a thought....
