Walmart maintains the cheapest prices of ammo anywhere. They are worth the little bit of time and effort involved in the search for ammo. Simply call your Walmart(s) around 0730 and do this every morning. Eventually you will hit it during a shipment day. I know this doesn't help some people but I work third shift so it's quite easy to hit the WW's after work.

Stopped in at my local WalMart yesterday and the only ammo in stock was .22lr and various shotgun stuff. The wait continues.

Been there several times looking for .40.
Nothing but frangibles and expensive hollow points. You'd think the factories would add some shifts or something, to capitalize on the market, even if it is temporary.

I went to look for 9mm yesterday. None!
The guy told me they got 1000 in two days ago and it lasted about 45 minutes. He did the thing with his scanner deal and checked the warehouse and said they had none on the way. I can't believe this is still going on after all this time. It's beyond ridiculousness at this point.

Las Vegas Walmart at Pecos and Tropicana had around 12 boxes of Federal FMJ 9mm, but no .380 for my wife's gun, nor .357 SIG for myself. Will check again in a couple of days!

I was at the local WM (SE FL) today after an appointment. I bought value pack of 223 and 3 boxes of 22lr (the first they've had in over a month). Left the same for the next guy. Guy at the counter said they got a shipment of 45 in the day before, and sold out the same day. No 9mm on the shelf or in the shipment. There was a box of 357 Sig and two boxes of 44 Mag (I don't shoot either). What really spins me up is all the 22-250, 300 WSM, 7mm, and 270 (over a case of the last!) in stock.

Went in 2 days ago they had some slugs at decent prices waited and waited for someone to come to open the cabinet, nobody came and I had to go. Came back today the slugs are all gone. I picked up some Dynapoints, but they are now $23.94 for 500, when last in stock they were $17.94

just have to keep to checking prices are definitely better, though higher, but we find the very occasional 380, 9mm every couple weeks, 45 every couple weeks, other varietyies are also about every two weeks...

I bought (3) Federal 22 LR in 550 round box and (3) CCI 22 Mag in 50 round box. The rule still says (6) box limit.
There were (72) 250 round boxes of UMC 45 ACP. (12) Federal 22 LR bulk. (12) Federal 9mm Most rifle calibers were at normal capacity. (.223, .243, .270, 30-30, 30:06, 7mm Rem Mag) Many bulk boxes of .223 (40 round box) 38, .357 & 40 were not in stock. For whatever reasons, there were many 100 round boxes of 12 gauge and 20 gauge......birdshot/trap loads and many boxes of turkey loads.
