I use Speer Gold Dot HP 115 gr. HP's in both the Glock 17 and the Glock 26. I tested them in two different Skyy CPX-1's this weekend and they were eaten with gusto.
I use CCI Blazer 115 gr. FMJ's for range time.

When I carried a 9mm, it was with 124 gr. Hydra-Shocks or 124 gr. Golden Sabers. They were what I could find and they fed reliably in my pistol. Good enough. Now I have a new 9mm pistol, so I'm going to test 115 gr. Gold Dots, 124 gr. +P DoubleTap, 147 gr. +P DoubleTap, 124 gr. Golden Sabers, and 147 gr. SXT's. I'll carry the one that feeds the most reliably, shoots straight and doesn't break my wrist.
I really hope the DoubleTaps shoot well, they have very impressive velocities, good Gold Dot bullets and they're pretty inexpensive for a defense round. As long as the recoil is manageable, they'll be my first choice.

In all my 9mm handguns I carry Winchester Ranger 127 +P+ (RA9TA).
When you care enough to send the very best - send RA9TA's! cheers tire iron |

Speer Gold Dot 124gr+P will be just fine. And if you have to use it the 9mm comes back on "target" fast due to low recoil.
Check out the site below for Double Tap Ammunition. They sell Gold Dot 124gr that will do 1290fps/458 ft lbs from a G19!!!!! http://www.doubletapammo.com/php/cat...roducts_id=128 RoadRunner - let us know how you like them!! jAK-47 |

I really have zero religious preference. Any JHP 124gr or higher from a major manufacturer.

I carry the Winchester WB Personal Protection in 147g JHP.
Now as we see in the Two posts above with regards to the 147g performance, one says they "SUCK", and the other says they "Preformed Very Well". Kinda goes to show what they say about Opinions and A-Holes is true..... As far as I see it, if you do your part, in putting the rds on target, most it not all of the loads will do their part.
