That would be great.

I heard the same story, that ammo available will improve this summer (June timeframe) from two different sources...

I hope it's true!

And I've noticed the local Academy has had .45 and 9mm in stock, prices are a bit higher than they were but at least they had it on the shelves!

Cheers! M2

My local shop has been keeping up with demand until this week. He just instituted a 5 box max on 9mm 40SW and 45. He does surprisingly have a ton of Military Surplus 7.62 NATO, 7.62x52R and 7.62x39. On a good note though I happened to stop in to Wally World before work tonight and they finally had the 550 bricks of Federal 22LR. I bought the 6 box max and so did 2 co workers of mine. So we cleaned them out in 5 mins. Only other thing they had was .22-250's and 38 specials. I bought up the 38's because I was heading the cabin next weekend to do some shooting.

look, if they stop selling ammo today and never sold another round it would take 6-12 months to refill the supply pipeline.

not speculation,fact!

Fact without evidence just reads like speculation to me.

I check Powder Valley's web site every day to see if they've added any primers. A couple of days ago, they put this notice on their site:
At this time we are not taking any new backorders for primers that are not listed here. We currently have over 50 million primers on backorder. If you currently have a backorder in place your order will be processed as primers become available. Once we begin receiving more primers from the manufacturers and are able to begin filling current backorders we will update the website.
If one supplier has backorders for 50 million primers, I find it hard to believe that production of ammo will be caught up within 60 days.

Around here, it's pretty hard to find any handgun ammo. Occasionally, I can find some but the prices are more than I'm willing to pay. The cheapest case price I've seen fairly local was $340 for 9mm American Eagle. I'll keep shooting my .22s and ride it out.

My local store had about a dozen boxes of 9MM WWB on the shelf. That was it though. I didn't buy any since I'm in pretty good shape.
