I don't see any sign of ammo supplies increasing here
all stores carrying ammo seem to be in the same shape as they have been for 5 to 6 months now firearms is another story, Academy had bare racks for long guns and bare shelves for handguns until 2-3 weeks ago, now they have a nice 'normal' looking stockpile, same with some other dealers here, but ammo...nope

Hang in there. I've got an order from 03-18-09 that I still don't have. 3 months and counting.

Here it is June 2009 and the ammo shelves are still pretty bare. I keep hearing predictions that they will catch up soon and that Remington and Winchester are working 24/7 but then I read that CCI and the ammo companies are laying people off. Who do you believe?

40 S&W is picking up as well as 9 mm around here. There is some 45 ACP but the 380 is still scarce. Primers are hard to find but I am beginning to see a little bit of them. We are far from out of the shortage but I am seeing a few glimmers of light.
