If I see Triton Quik Shoks or Federal Nyclads I buy them but usually I settle for Hydra Shoks

I don't carry a 9mm much anymore. But the rounds I had the best results with were the Cor-Bon115 gn+p or the 115,124 gn Gold Dot.

Those Corbon 115+P's are starting to look real interesting. I definatly need to test those. The Corbon's and Hornady's 124 TAP load are now the rounds I need to test most.

Gold dots
I carry gold dots in every thing except
357mag.In 9mm i use the Black hills loading of the 115gr gold dot.At 1300 fps they're a little faster than speer's and have been plenty accurate in my MK9,9WVE and a SW99C.At 18 dollars a box of 50 they're not expensive. The drawback is they're very hard to find locally,i have to order them from Midwayusa. |

I personaly have seen more tissue distruction with higher velocity out of the compact 9's. The sub-sonic stuff out of my old full size duty gun (P226) was a **** poor performer on living tissue. Having said that I would go for some high velocity ammo that perfomed well from my personal weapon.

I don't use 9mm anymore, but I did for almost 2 years and I used the same type of ammo that I use now with my .40, I use Federal Hydra-shoks, and so far they are the best choice for me because of there performance compared to the rest of the brands I have tried.

I had used some, but had some malfunctions with the round nose diving. The slide velocity is too high for the design of the system. She said +P is OK. I had gone to the Ranger T 147 grain ammo. FWIW. Jerry |
