I did fire some .38 +P DPX into wet newspaper both plain and with a couple layers of T shirt in front. From a snub the DPX did not fully open, only one or two segments peeled back. It was enough to cause the round to tumble so that might help it wound better, but it was not the same perfect expansion seen in the magazine ads.

I shoot a lot of Magtech.....and I have reloaded their cases a whole bunch of times....I have not seen a problem with Guardian Gold in the 9mm.....but I have not tried the .38 special. Write or call them with the info.....they will make good on it.
