Aguila "Shorty" performance

Is there any data on the terminal performance of the mini buckshot loads from Aguila? I guess what I am really asking is has anybody been shot with them and did they perform? The Buckshot load has 4 #1 pellets and 7 #4 pellets at about 1200 ft/sec.

Sounds as if it should do well at close range, but has anybody really done it and reported on the result?

Tnx.

I was under the impression those were only intended for training purposes, but I could be wrong.

Aguila shorty loads are very lethal little shotgun rounds, the biggest problem they have is in cycling the action in your shotgun. Some guns work just fine with them, others do not.

As I see it the only advantage they offer is the number of rounds you can load in your magazine.

I really don't see the advantage. If I'm still engaged with someone after having fired 15 rounds of 45acp and 5 rounds of 12 gauge, I should have brought an "Evil Black Rife" instead.
