Why the 45
First post here so it's just my opinion!
I carry a 45 because that's what I own and don't have the money for an arsonel! It goes bang when I pull the trigger and if I do my part it hits what I aim at. We are not all the same, that's why there are so many different guns. I don't want to get hit with any of them. Use what you got and what you can hit with!! Carl |

Interesting article and poll on this subject where 800 officers voted for their "off-duty" carry caliber and chose .40 over 9mm 2 to 1.

The poll is a year old. I'd be interested to see if the figures hold up today - especially his prediction for the .45 GAP.
