How much change are you seeing?
I would expect small changes on the order of perhaps an inch but nothing significant unless there is a significant difference in power level between loads. I find revolvers to exhibit the greatest change between fast and slow bullets as their bore axis is higher than the typical semi auto. Difference in barrel time will cause vertical movement and torque left right based on rifling twist. You might need to tighten your hold and arm muscles a bit. Good luck

Better not lighten the load, you're already getting 2% FTE.

At 15 yrds with 115 grn and my home brewed 1224 I'm about 2 inches left and about 2 or 3 down. With factory 124 I'm just about dead center. I will work on tightening my grip and see if that makes a difference.

Not too tight.

One should always be leaning into the target slightly, not leaning back or to one side or having a "straight-up" stance. Standing straight up will get you rocked back on your heels. While it is more noticeable with long guns, it will happen with handguns, too.

I'm still confused as to why I am seeing a difference between 124 and 115, and my home brewed 124.
I think my stance is fine. |
