Maybe too cheap .40SW Winchester "PDX1" on Ammoman

When I see something a lot cheaper than I expect it I get suspicious. Ammoman has Winchester 180gr bonded JHP's on sale for $249/500. These look almost identical to the ones I bought retail in 20 count boxes for over $1 per bullet. I wasn't expecting to see this drastic a cost difference, especially when Gold Dots are going for $450/500.

The only difference I can tell from all the pictures compared to my retail rounds is a red substance around the primers which I think is a sealant of some sort. Wondering if this was maybe a large order for law enforcement that was rejected. Anybody heard anything? Link posted below.

If I was looking for a bonded version I'd buy em. Same as these WINCHESTER RANGER RA40B at Tactical Defense Solutions except this is retail packaging. The white box is for large volume discount orders. This is probably an overrun that was sent to retail channels.

There is something similar from Federal's HST line available to retail.

I went ahead and ordered a case. If I had the extra cash I would have ordered more. I'd really like to get my hands on some Winchester Silvertips though, you know for when the Werewolf apocalypse hits.
