Wow, it's kind of difficult to construct a sentence saying you are please with this specific store without it coming out way wrong. I like...err, I've been satisfied with the local...nevermind.
![]() Anyway, I was at the local branch of said retailer on Monday and the shelves were stocked. Sure, they aren't the same as WalMart or the prices you can get online, but that does me no good when WalMart's shelves are bare and I don't feel like waiting for an online order (or even worse ordering and finding out after the fact that it's backordered). I got two boxes of Remington .38 special for 18.99 each. .40 WWB JHP's were $27.99 IIRC. My wife bought one of those coupon books that kids sell for school fund raisers and they had some decent coupons in there. I used the $20 off a purchase of $100 or more to get a single shot .410 shot gun that was only like $120 to begin with. They aren't the best, but they're ok in my opinion. FWIW |

There are at least 2 Dick's Sporting Goods stores in Louisville (one at Oxmoor Mall just of I-264 and US HWY 60) and another on Hurstbourne Lane. They are both on the East side of Louisville. There is a Dick's in Lexington also. I believe it is at the big Mall just off of New Circle Road on US HWY 27. The next time you get that far east from Marshall County you can check them out!

Hit Academy Sports tonight for a new cleaning rod and they had stacks and stacks of CCI .22LR Mini Mags, 36GR for $6.99/100. Bought 3. They were $9.99 at Dicks.

No .357 Sig
I stopped in the Local "Dick's". Unfortunately they specifically stated that they do not carry .357 Sig ammunition.

Around here, Cabela's has large stocks of Remington 525 rd value packs for $20. Same for Federal's value packs.

Yesterday Dick's in Fayetteville, Ga had the most ammo I've ever seen them have. They had everything, even .380. Got me some .380 now!

Everytime I read one of these threads I get even happier that I handload. $57 for 250 9mm is a deal? Since I cast my own bullets and have lots of free 9mm range brass, I can load 1000 rounds for less than $57, and 9mm is probably the cartridge that I save the least handloading.
Quote; Landric Ok ,but if you COULD"NT get lots of free range brass, what would it realistically cost you. Because thats what most of us would be paying. P.S. good for you on saving while you shoot! How cowardly. How pathetic." Ted Nugent

About $30 to $40 more, once fired brass for 9mm is for sale everywhere for between $30 and $40 per thousand. Luckily it seems that more shooters don't pick up 9x19 brass than .45 ACP, .38 Special, etc., so there always seems to be plenty of it available free at the ranges I go to.
