This attempt to portray Obama as pro-gun is 100% misleading. The national parks rule was not a separate bill, it was a rider on an unrelated bill about stimulus or budgets or something that Obama was absolutely going to sign. No doubt he was peeved that the park law had to go with it.

Obama's actions and statements as an Illinois state legisltor and senator make his position on guns clear. He is just biding his time until the political risks of action are lower.
