the tactical 1911 , dave lauck
i just finished this book , i found it very informative , maybe slightly preachy especially if you don't carry a 1911. but since he was preaching to the choir AMEN brother!
the title includes " the street cop's and swat operator's guide to employment and maintenance", but i felt it was more geared to the defensive hand gunner . had i been an leo i think i would have been disapointed . the more i research and self teach the more i find i'm lacking . however i find that dave lauck laid out the book in good orderly fashion and broke down the order into sub sections which fit my 'read when you got a min style' . i have some basic handgun training but feel that i need more for ccw . this book is i feel a good place to start . and now that i have some idea of what i need to put into practice and fine tuning some things i already do . elance |
