Looks like a must read for any fan of the 1911 .45. This gun is as American as apple pie and no other handgun says that any better! Not even close! While injuries from being a firefighter have taken their toll and now arthritis has set in, and I can no longer shoot "ole slabsides" like I once used to do, I still remain an ardent fan though and will to my dying day.

I was just thumbing through this the other day, but I opted to buy the orange slices candy instead. I will be getting it to read this Monday though, it does have some real cool stuff in it.

I've purchased the last two 1911 magazines G&A released. They're must reads for any 1911 enthusiast! I'm waiting for the next AR-15 book though.

Hmmmm, I finally found one at our new Tractor Supply Co store (the stuff you need out here :) ). It does have articles on several popular models (with the same hint of "send me a pistol to review & I'll write it up good" smell that most guns rags permeate), even an article on older colts. I was kinda disappointed, no how-to or even what & why articles. I guess you can't really expect a magazine of 136 pages to live up to that title but it beats a single 1911 article in a 43 page mag at 1/2 the price :)
