Book Review, The Dirty Dozen
The Dirty Dozen, by Robert A. Levy & William Mellor. Sentinel Publishing, 2008. 302 pages.
This book is a compilation and analysis of the 12 worst, in terms of expanding the government's influence and eroding citizens' rights, U.S. Supreme Court decisions since 1937. Number 6 on the list is United States v. Miller (1939), the most significant gun rights ruling in the 20th century. (The book was published before the Court ruled on D.C. v. Heller.) The authors, who are both pro-gun, thoroughly analyze Miller in four parts: ● What is the Constitutional issue? ● What were the facts? ● Where did the Court go wrong? ● What are the implications? This is highly recommended reading. Best of all, it's written in plain language, not legalese. It's available from Amazon, or look for it in your local library.

I've been meaning to get that one, thanks for the review. I heard the author on Michale Medved once.
