Essential Guide to Handguns: Firearm Instruction for Personal Defense and Protection

Bought this book sealed (in plastic) so I could not really judge the content prior to purchase.

After reading it, I am don't feel as though I came away with anything more than I knew beforehand.

There is a lot of type but few photos and the information presented seems almost redundant from one chapter to the next. I tried to make use of the material presented but the book simply failed to hold my attention.

YMMV and I am sure it will. But for me It failed to fill the the bill.

Respectifuly,
Craig

Thanks for the review, but you omitted one rather important point:

What is the author's name?

Thanks, Craig.

Bruce Eimer writes for Concealed Carry Magazine also. I've never been impressed with his writing.

I had a subscription and let it lapse, it just didn't hold my attention.
