American Rifleman Mag
For those who get this rag...have the last few issues seemed awfully thin to you?

Can't say I've noticed. I enjoyed the write up on XDs in the latest issue.

None of my mag subscriptions have been properly forwarded to Iraq.
Missing out on Handgunner, Guns, G&A, and American Rifleman. :(

Possibly. But it still seems to have a lot of advertisers backing it. Still informative as always. I lost about five years of back issues when I moved two years ago. Long story.

It's a bit thin, but IIRC the last few years Jan/Feb issues were thin too. Then came the SHOT show edition and almost too much general info and not much detail (prices).

I've enjoyed several articles lately. I agree the XD article has me really thinking about one. But so did the P30 Article. Gad, I'm going to have to train hard so I can carry the gun of the day.

Maybe a bit, but I am assuming that the staff are all prepping for the SHOT Show. At least I hope that is what is happening.

I've thrown them all in the trash as soon as they arrive for about the last 30 years. Yes, they take up less space in the trash bag now. The mag was pointless and content free in the 60s, and still is, IMO. About every 12 months I browse real quick to see if there's any content and nope, just the NRA going through its usual course of whining plus some articles about stuff of no interest to me. No better or worse than any other gun magazine, but every bit a waste of natural resources.
