Recommend a few DVD's

Im gonna join Netflix because they carry way more stuff than you'd ever find on TV or in Blockbuster et al.

They carry instructional videos for musicians even so Im sure the catalog has some of the defensive carry training DVD's as well.

Your suggestions do not have to be only about the carry of firearms.

Anything self defense or survival will be welcomed.

Not sure what you mean by survival, but you can usually get seasons of tv shows through them, Discovery channel had a show called man vs. wild that was pretty good. Dumped a guy in the wilderness and he would have to survive a few days. There was a similar show too recently, but I forget the name of it.

Not sure about training DVD's for SD though.

If the have "Die Less Often" with Mark Denny and Gabe Suarez--it's worth watching.

Netflix

Just looked and they have some hunting videos and some on outdoor survival but nothing on the firearm specific topic. Wish they had some of the old Personal Defense TV or Guns and Ammo or the Pincus of Smith videos and a bunch like that. Such a resource would be really sweet. Getting tired of the ruruns on Outdoor TV with the Gun shows - new Handgun show but the rest are just "play it again."

Found this one doing a search for another movie but don't know anything about it

Active Shooter Assault Procedures
(2008) NR
Former U.S. Marine and noted combat instructor Chuck Habermehl offers this practical guide that outlines effective tactics for quickly neutralizing an active shooter: a gunman whose goal is to kill multiple innocent bystanders in a public setting. Emphasizing the need to seize the initiative in order to save lives, Habermehl's guidelines are appropriate for law-enforcement officials and others who may face this potentially lethal situation.

I looked for shooting related DVDs on Netflix a while back and didn't have much luck. If you find anything, please mention it here.

As far as good DVDs go, I recently got Roger Phillips' Point Shooting Progressions DVD. It's truly excellent! I would definitely recommend it.
