Outdoor Channel and Sportsman Channel

I did something I don't like to do, and I gave Comcast and extra $7 to $8 a month.

I figure for the cost of one off-shelf gun magizine (as in the periodicals) I would get two great channels (plus some sports channels). The on-demand content alone justified one or two months. I could cancel it, wait a few months, and start it back up, if the programing gets slow. I'm looking forward most of all to watching "American Guardian."

Side note: I hate a show on TLC my wife loves called "What not to Wear." I have found after an hour of hunting shows, the Sportsman channel and Outdoor channel are about the same for her.

I'm let several subscriptions run out, as it was getting to the point that you could just wait a month or so and get the same story out of an NRA mag. Sure there might be one every few months, but I get most of what I want just skimming over in the aisle, and then every few monts buying one that catches additional info. The only down side, available bathroom literature has reduced, and I've just about memorized the Bass Pro catalog.

Oh...now you have "GUN TV" - where even the commercials are good.
Congrats.

Agreed! I actually like the commercials on Wednesday night at the range!

AceHi
I'm a fan of "The Best Defense". I think it is one of the best self defense channels out there.

Don't know for sure about DTV but they are on Dish Network so they probably are on DTV as well.
