My newest aquisition...a Springfield Ultra Compact, gently used and bought for a song. I put about 550 rounds through her then decided to change the looks and functionality.
Bobbed and dehorned the hammer and grip safety. Changed from an arched mainspring housing to a flat checkered one. Added tritium sights, slim grips, extended thumb safety and combat hammer. I really like the results and am planning to send it off to Springfield for their great parkerizing job. What'cha think???

S&W 1911SC in Sparks SSII or Comptac CTAC Slide if I have to tuck my shirt (i.e. it too warm for a vest)
Sparks 1.5" Sharkskin belt and double mag carrier. Shivworks Disciple fixed blade, just forward of gun, set up for pikal draw. Sometimes a Bud Nealy Cave Bear clipped to inside left of vest. Folder on RHS pocket, either Benchmade Auto or Emmerson Commander. ASP key defender and keys. Sometimes a 'Travel Wrench' in back pocket. Night-ops Gladius in bezel down weak side holster from Survival Sheaths.
