Hell, I do that to myself everyday.

I got to get some pictures of my beloved 36 and the never out of the box new 642. I'm thinking I need a 357 though.

I suppose my chrome 2.5" S&W Model 19 .357 counts as a snubby, even though it feels like it weighs five pounds!

Jimmy nice pic with Joel's book! That is a very good idea.

Here is my 1968 Model 60... I love stainless steel.

Got bit by it too . . .

Hi All,

I have carried everything from a full-size Dan Wesson 10mm to a H&K P2000SK and even a P3AT. My new primary carry is a Ruger Sp101 w/ 2" pipe in the .357 magnum flavor. I've heard alot about the agony of shooting that kind of round in a little gun like this, but I'll tell ya . . . with the Hogue grip added and a little bit of practice, this is a nice carry package

Tbird.

I have been carrying a 642, as my primary carry here in Florida, for over a year in a Mika pocket holster. Don't even know it's there and can wear shorts and a tucked T shirt. When I feel I might need it, I carry a speed loader in an old cell phone case. Looks just like I have a cell phone in it.

*sigh* I was already starting to miss my Taurus 850 while noticing I had some Speer +P ammo left. I need another snubby, that's all there is to it. Thanks a lot.

tbird, I just read the American Rifleman article about the new Ruger SP101 in .327 Federal Magnum. That sounds like an excellent self-defense cartridge, having ballistics comparable to a .357 but without the recoil.

I expect we'll see S&W with one shortly, likely a J-frame. Being an "S&W addict", I know if they release one my checking account will take a hit....
