Put 100 rounds through it on Saturday. 50 Winchester JHP and 50 Remington FMJ.

All of the problems I had before the recall work are gone.

I sent my SR9 in on the 11th of September and it came back today, the 22nd of September. The trigger is noticably shorter, to me, and it seems a lot better than it was before.

SR-9 Recall

Just got mine back, Ok, so I got a Glock trigger now. The magazine release is much improved. Still not happy with Ruger over this..

What are you not happy with?

I just got an SR9, post recall model, and I can't wait to shoot it.. Trigger seems decent, a little spongy or dead feeling, but I believe that will get better with some time..

When you get your new rebuilt SR9 back it should have red dot on left side

Um, no.

No such dot or sticker on the frame of my SR9 when I got it back, and they did more than replace the trigger assembly.

I reckon it just depends on who did the work at the factory, as to whether or not any inspection sticker or dot gets put on the gun or not. Don't think it matters much.

Howdy! New to the forum, and I know that this is an old post, but I picked up an SR9 a while back, and it was in the recall. They had a really quick turn around time and tossed in a free mag and a cap for the trouble. I know one thing, this is a real sweet pistol! Recoil is nothing to speak of even with Doubletap ammo, and it is accurate as all get out!! I'm normally a 1911 type fella, never been a big fan of the nine, but with the right ammo, I feel completely safe carrying the SR9.
