Are you absolutely sure about your ship date? The reason I ask is the recall was announced on 10/29/2008, the same day I posted this thread. I filled out the online form that morning before I posted. I should have been fairly high on the list if they went in order of forms received. I didn't receive my box until 11/25 or 11/26 but because of the holidays, didn't get around to calling Ruger for pick-up until 12/1. The first mention on this thread of ANYONE actually receiving their shipping box was on 12/1/2008 in post #55 by Van55.

In either case (11/19 or 12/19), have you called Ruger? Have you ran the tracking number to make sure it got there? Even if it was 12/19 and with the Christmas holidays thrown in there, I'd say you're behind schedule to have received it back. I'd sure be giving them a call to check on the status.

Anyone heard anything new from Ruger?

They received my LCP on 12/29, but I'm still waiting for its return. Guess I'll call them tomorrow.

They received mine on 12-24 and they tried to deliver it back Friday 1-17, but I was at work. I put it on will call so I can pick it up tomorrow. They shut down for 2 days for Christmas and 1 day for New Years, and had some type of supply issues with one of their manufacturers.

That's what the website told me to do. I'm going to the actual distribution center close to me (at least they think its close). Guess we'll find out shortly.

I'd want an explanation, and not from the receptionist. Sounds to me like they lost it, and are stonewalling you. If people are getting theirs back in two weeks, theirs have to be done after yours. Do they admit to having yours? Tell them to return it or replace it.

I sent mine the Monday after Christmas and the UPS truck just dropped it off on my door step today January 19 2008 so it may arrive on MLK day. I'm living proof.

Picked mine up today from the local distribution place Will Call. Looked good. Wasn't sure how they folded that hat to fit in that box, but they did it. Mag fits better than my other ones too.
