Looks great! I have always liked the way the 229 looked in SS. Could you please inform us to what type of lighting you are using in your shots? It looks great.

Beautiful! That might be the gun I get my daughter if it comes in a 9mm.

It sure enough does--the one pictured is a 9mm.

As a stainless, it's heavier than the straight P229 (37 oz vs. 32 oz, IIRC). However, with the reduced recoil of the 9mm ammo and the extra weight of the stainless (not to mention the beavertail), it is a very stable shot.

If she can handle the weight, we can definitely handle the recoil.

I personally have opted for 9mm across the board, as I prefer to stock only one caliber size of ammo and I want my wife to feel comfortable shooting it.

Hi Adam -

It's kind of funny, but the lighting used in these shots was simply the kitchen light hanging over our kitchen table (3 of those new low-power incandescent bulb replacements--whatever they're called). The "background" is the table runner that my wife has on our kitchen table.

I have no money for a good lighting booth--I spent it all on Sigs.

Gorgeous handgun and equally impressive pictures.

The P229 Elite is one of the two Sigs on my Must Have list. That and the P220 Elite SAO (which doesn't seem to be in production any longer).

Very nice Sig. I love my DAK trigger. How do you like the SRT compared to the standard trigger?

I am jealous of your camera/camera skills. Nice photography.

Personally, I'm a fan of the DA/SA trigger system. The SRT is a variant of that system in that the trigger release distance before reset is shorter. Therefore, if you choose, you can pull subsequent shots rapidly.

I like it.

Oh..... Some day I hope to have one just like it. I think it is one of the most beautiful guns on the market. Not to say I think it is one of the best out also.
