gotta wonder about that 200 yard shot... where are you getting that data on that? Hard enough to hit a target at 150 yards with a thompson (tommy gun) plus there is not a whole lot of power left in the round at that range.

The Springers are mostly fine pistols but not what I want. I want the smooth feel of shooting a .45 ACP with a small barrel length as if I am riding my horse at a cantor, not a gallop. Most .45's with a 5" barrel will be more comfortable but not compact enough for me. Actually before I spend another $1000.00 in this economy for any good .45, I will think about buying the .45 ACP or .357 Sig slide for my P250 first.
